Rebecca A. Pare is a Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience specializing in Women’s Health.  Ms. Pare obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of New Hampshire.  Following graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Exeter Hospital in their Progressive Care Unit and then at Massachusetts General Hospital in postoperative cardiac surgery care.  Ms. Pare continued her nursing education at Boston College, where she obtained a Master of Science degree specializing as a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner.  She then worked at a private practice in Massachusetts providing general obstetrics and gynecology care.

Ms. Pare then moved to California for several years and worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Maternal Fetal Medicine at Stanford Hospital and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, where she specialized in diabetes in pregnancy.  In that time, she earned an additional certification as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.  She has since moved back to New England and continues to provide services in California via telemedicine.  Ms. Pare practiced in California for over 8 years and is well versed in the culture and demands of living in the Golden State.

Ms. Pare is excited to join Nightwater Medical Center and utilize technology to see patients on both coasts.  She enjoys spending time getting to know her patients on a personal level in order to identify the factors that influence their health and collaborating with each individual patient to customize a plan to improve their health status.  Ms. Pare specializes in women’s health, including contraception, preconception care, and menopause management, as well as  management of gestational diabetes (in conjunction with the patient’s regular obstetrician).

Ms. Pare practices through a “Health At Every Size” framework and uses Intuitive Eating principles in her practice.  She believes that health isn’t dependent on body size and collaborates with patients to honor their beliefs and values while working towards improving their health goals.

Ms. Pare lives with her husband, two children, and two cats in New Hampshire.  She enjoys spending time with her family and exploring nature.
